Spring works fine, had to make a few modifications to the handle and recess in the flywheel. handle was 3/4 diameter spring to wide to fit, cut down the handler and remove a little casting in the handle recess, redrilled the hole to handle a 5/16 bolt, modified the bolt to fit through the recess and cut slot to put bolt in, installed bolt, handle and spring tell fit with some play and reassembled. works fine. in process of second handle for second JD E should works fine.
